Students, teachers and support staff at Welbeck DSFC benefit from an in-house catering service. This service is provided by an experienced team of chefs, dieticians and service staff who prepare and serve around 6,700 fresh and healthy meals per week, including breakfast, lunch and evening meal. The team also caters for all types of college functions ranging from tea and coffee trays and buffets for meetings to regimental house and college dinners such as Trafalgar Night, Burns Night, House Dinner Nights and Presidents Dinners.

In addition, bar food and drinks can be purchased in the Quorum Bar, with every day essentials, from toiletries to gum shields, on sale daily at the student shop. Vending machines are also located throughout the college, selling hot and cold drinks and confectionary 24 hours a day.

The catering service is also available for external functions and can be tailored to each customer’s particular requirements. The catering team has supported all sorts of occasions ranging from small seminars to large-scale sporting events, including ‘On Camp with Kelly’ (Dame Kelly Holmes mentoring the next generation of Olympic athletes), Leicester Tigers pre season training camp and various international rugby training camps (England, Canadians under 18s & 21s).
