2007-08 Examination Results
Our A level results for 2008 show a massive step up from our “Best Ever” results last year.
The leaving UVI (06 entry) have maintained last years 100% pass rate at 'A' level and have significantly increased the number of A to C grades. Significant details are...
- A 100% Pass Rate. (Only one E grade)
- Our points/student has increased from 350 to 378.
- Our points/subject has increased from 101 to 107.
- Our percentage of A to C grades has increased from 91% to 96%.
- Our percentage of A / B grades has increased from 71% to 83%.
- Our percentage of A grades has increased from 42% to 53%.
According to the Telegraph League tables this places us :
- About 22/23rd position out of all state sector schools
- Independent schools league table position 2008 = 116 (2007 = 268)
- We are now the top sixth form college in the UK
- We are the top SHMIS school
- We are the top SBSA (state boarding school)
